====New UnFUG Matrix Community!====

We are now running a Matrix instance and have created a Space for our members (ask for an invitation in the [[https://matrix.to/#/#public:unfug.hs-furtwangen.de|Forum]] or at a meeting!)

[[https://matrix.org|Matrix]] is an open network for secure, decentralized communication. If you're familiar with other federated systems like Mastodon, it's the same concept, but as a communications tool.

If you're interested in joining our community, just ask any one of us or write us a mail to mail@unfug.hs-furtwangen.de! Or, if you are already on matrix, join the [[https://matrix.to/#/#public:unfug.hs-furtwangen.de|Forum]].

This is not the case since the cyberattack, but rumours are that there will be a new Matrix instance provided some time after accounts are available again.
